Zimrah is a visual artist born in Argentina, self-taught in painting, whose work explores the persistence of spiritual symbols within contemporary culture. Drawing from religious iconography, ritual practices, medicine and robotics, her artworks examine how traditional structures of faith, devotion, and transcendence are transformed by technology and modern systems of knowledge.
Working across painting, digital media, photography, installation, and robotic sculpture, she creates images and objects that inhabit the space between the sacred and the technological. Medicines, machines, relicaries, devotional figures, and artificial bodies become vehicles through which enduring human questions about hope, mortality, belief, and transformation are reconsidered.
Rather than treating religion and technology as opposing forces, her practice investigates their shared capacity to generate meaning, ritual, and symbolic experience. Through the reinterpretation of historical imagery and the incorporation of emerging technologies, her work proposes new visual narratives where ancient archetypes coexist with contemporary forms of faith.
In parallel with her artistic practice, Zimrah designs robots and animatronic systems for educational and cultural exhibitions, integrating engineering, digital technologies, and artistic research into a multidisciplinary approach.

Zimrah es una artista visual argentina, autodidacta, cuya obra explora la persistencia de los símbolos espirituales en la cultura contemporánea. A partir de la iconografía religiosa, las prácticas rituales, la medicina y la robótica, sus trabajos examinan cómo las estructuras tradicionales de la fe y la devoción se transforman frente a la tecnología y los sistemas modernos de conocimiento.
Trabajando a través de la pintura, los medios digitales, la fotografía, la instalación y la escultura robótica, crea imágenes y objetos que habitan un territorio intermedio entre lo sagrado y lo tecnológico. Medicamentos, máquinas, relicarios, figuras devocionales y cuerpos artificiales se convierten en vehículos para replantear cuestiones humanas fundamentales, como la esperanza, la mortalidad, la creencia y la transformación.
Lejos de considerar la religión y la tecnología como fuerzas opuestas, su práctica investiga la capacidad compartida de ambas para generar significado, ritual y experiencia simbólica. Mediante la reinterpretación de imágenes históricas y la incorporación de tecnologías emergentes, su obra propone nuevas narrativas visuales en las que arquetipos ancestrales conviven con formas contemporáneas de fe.
Paralelamente a su práctica artística, Zimrah diseña robots y sistemas animatrónicos para exposiciones educativas y culturales, integrando ingeniería, tecnologías digitales e investigación artística en un enfoque multidisciplinario.
